Wouldn’t it be great if you could check in on your family, friends, pets and flowering plants from anywhere, anytime?
Well, it’s really easy. You can use any Google Android phone to access your IP camera via mydlink. Just click the Android Marketplace icon on your phone. If it’s not on your “desktop” screen, it’s tucked away where all the apps are alphabetized.
Search for D-Link, dlink, Dlink, or DLINK in the marketplace, and you’ll be presented with a sweet little app called mydlink Lite. Install it and you’re set.
Run the app by clicking on it, and you’ll see a login screen. You’ll need your mydlink™ login and password. Once you’re in, you’ll see a list of your cameras (or just one). Click on any of them, and voila, you have a full view of whatever you’re camera sees. Switch to full-screen mode to get an even bigger, better view.
You can even take a snapshot of the action. The app saves the photo to your phone’s SD card and/or in the photo folder.
Use it wisely and ethically, please. This is really powerful stuff!
