Last week, PcMag Editor, John Delaney, posted his review of our new AC3200 Ultra Wi-Fi Router (DIR-890L/R) and let’s just say we feel like a kid on Christmas morning! Not only did he give it a 4.5 of of 5 stars, Excellent, rating but he also made it PCMag Editors’ Choice for consumer router!
John was a big fan of the design of the AC3200, saying with its ‘pyramid-like design, shiny candy-apple red finish, and six external antennas, it looks more like a radioactive spider from a sci-fi flick than a high-end networking device’. The AC3200 has plenty of other features that add to its attractiveness including an extremely user friendly management interface and super simple setup along with Smart Connect and Smart Beam Forming Technology. But as we’ve stated in our previous blogs, this beauty isn’t just all about looks, the AC3200 packs a major performance punch. During testing, the router turned in top scores for wireless range and best of all, gave ‘record-breaking times on our throughput tests’!
All in all, we can’t say we’re surprised but, we’re beyond happy about all the great things John had to say about our favorite ‘radioactive spider’, or router as most people call it. For the full review, click here.
